“It’s a shame God made Satan so perfect.”

Listen, anything QB writes is an automatic yes for me. The woman can do no wrong! When I tell you, I’m only 2 books away from reading everything she’s written, I’m not lying.

I received the ARC for Bittersweet Love and man was it amazing, but I was hearing nothing short of amazing things from those who received the ALC. I knew that the moment that it was available I had to download the audiobook.

That was the best decision I could’ve ever done. These two were so freaking good! I would say most of the time I feel like the male narrators are usually the ones who steal the show, although in this case MS. MAGGIE THOMPSON ate and left no crumbs.

While I read, I see it play out in my head like a movie and when I listen to books that just makes it 100 times more realistic to me. It’s being played out and when the narrators are good, that visual I’ve had is on fire! It’s colorful, it’s 4D. I can feel it

Maggie really brings Lauren to life and Austin as Vince is so good. This was my first time listening to anything he’s narrated and it was good. His voice is nice and smooth and whenever that man chuckled - sweet baby.🫠

I have listened to Maggie before and she really does an amazing job. She makes me swoon, honestly does.

(This is me listening to Maggie)

These two were so hot! I LOVED their back and forth banter, it was so spicy and delicious that you can feel it in the way they narrated this. Vince says, “Our fighting was the best foreplay I’ve ever had,” and fvck yes it was. It was so good, their chemistry is off charts! They had me feeling hot and feral. Literally felt like I needed to hose myself down.

This is part of a series and I didn’t read the Bittersweet Duet prior to this and I didn’t feel like I was missing out or anything, although I HAVE to jump into it asap.

Lauren moves to Chicago for a new job, new start - with hopes that her boyfriend will move shortly after. There, working for NBC as a journalist, she meets her coworker Vince. And they couldn't be more different. They can’t stand each other - or can they? One day, Lauren gets a break up text from her boyfriend and when she goes drink away her pain guess who’s at the bar?!

I love both Lauren and Vince’s mouth, again they were so hot 🥵🥵 and I was hot! Maggie and Austin did their thing with these characters.

This book was short but was it packed with spice and the story was good. Nothing felt rushed and we see their relationship grow into something more. You felt it and I enjoyed this so much! 🙌🏻

Tropes
